Funding Information and Opportunities:

There is no shortage of resources for travel funding and research grants. Below, you'll find some of those resources. If you do your own searching, you'll find more, perhaps through Pacific and definitely through other organizations, which set aside annual budgets strictly for the sponsoring of student scientists. If you're paying your own way, that's because you didn't try hard enough to secure funds.

Undergraduate research funding at Pacific: http://www.pacific.edu/Academics/Research-and-Scholarship/Undergraduate-Research/Research-Grants.html

If your work is muscular (biomechanics, neuromuscular, function), apply for a De Luca grant: https://www.delucafoundation.org/activities/support-students/travel-grants/

To apply for undergraduate research funding, you'll need to fill out this form: UGR_Conference_Travel_Application.doc. Instructions on filling it out are here.

If you get a Pacific travel grant, you'll probably need to submit a document "written" and signed by me. You will do the writing; I'll do the signing. Take this letter template and adjust the details to fit your project. Print it, bring it to me, and I'll sign it.
